The Arts Society Arun has regular monthly meetings with lectures from highly knowledgeable and entertaining speakers, and a special all-day event where we can explore a topic in more depth with an expert in the subject.  Throughout the year we arrange a number of one-day visits to places of interest, and a longer residential stay for those interested in going further afield.

Except for the months of August and December the Arts Society Arun presents the lectures at meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Woodlands Centre (next to the Recreation Ground).  Meetings begin promptly at 10:15am preceded by doors opening at 9:30am with refreshments until 10:05am.  Visitors and members’ guests are welcome on payment of £10 -please book in with the Membership Secretary on the door.
Full annual membership is £48.

Additionally a number of our members engage in voluntary work supporting Arts Volunteering and Heritage Projects around Sussex.

The Arts Society Arun is a local branch of the national Arts Society, a national charity (previously known as NADFAS) whose aims are the promotion and appreciation of all forms of art.
